An Ulster Park couple, Kristen Jones, 29, and Dean Hunlock, 26, have been arrested following a burglary in the Town of Esopus, according to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred on November 1, when an 89-year-old homeowner discovered several items missing from her residence, including cash, credit cards, jewelry, and other personal items.

The investigation led detectives to Jones and Hunlock's residence, where a search warrant was executed on November 13. Several stolen items belonging to the victim were recovered from the couple's home. Both Jones and Hunlock were present during the search and were taken into custody without incident.

Jones has been charged with the felonies of burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, and three counts of grand larceny, as well as a misdemeanor of criminal possession of stolen property. She was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

Hunlock, on the other hand, was charged with the misdemeanor of criminal possession of stolen property. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Esopus Justice Court.
