A Brewster family is safe after a fire broke out in their home on North Salem Road on Christmas Eve (December 24). Fire crews responded to the scene around 4 p.m., battling the blaze that caused extensive damage and left the family displaced.
Firefighters from four different stations worked together to control the fire. The quick response ensured that no one was injured, but the home suffered significant damage, making it uninhabitable for the time being.
