The Ulster County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 63-year-old man for allegedly threatening a construction worker with a firearm in the Town of Hurley. The incident occurred last week while the contractor was working on a heating system at a residence on Elks Park Road. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He is expected to return to town court at a later date.

The arrest highlights ongoing concerns about firearm-related incidents in the area. In a separate case, multiple firearms were recently seized from a home on Shady Lane in Hurley, according to state police reports. The authorities continue to monitor and address such threats to ensure community safety.
