John Boyle, a well-known chiropractor in Kingston, and his wife, Danielle Scofield, were arraigned on Tuesday (March 4) on multiple felony charges related to child pornography. Boyle, 33, who operates Boyle Family Chiropractic, faces charges including promoting and possessing obscene material featuring minors. His wife, also 33, is charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance of a child. Both have pleaded not guilty.

The investigation began after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children tipped off state police about explicit images of minors shared on Snapchat. According to Times Union, police traced the images to Boyle's account and IP address. Further investigation revealed additional images shared on Flingster, an adult chat site, linked to an Airbnb in Florida where the couple stayed in August 2023.

A search warrant executed in October 2024 led to the discovery of over 1,300 images and 811 videos on Boyle's phone, depicting child sexual abuse, necrophilia, and bestiality. Authorities allege Boyle distributed at least 89 images via text and encrypted messaging apps like Telegram and Session. Boyle and Scofield were released on a $200,000 bail bond and are due back in court on April 15.

The couple's legal representatives, Vincent Scala for Boyle and Lisa Pelosi for Scofield, have not commented publicly on the case. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed. Boyle Family Chiropractic, which was popular in the Hudson Valley, has been closed since Scofield's arrest in October. Boyle reportedly began seeing patients at home in January.
