Celeste Lecesne, the founder of The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ+ youth, will be speaking in Rosendale, New York, this weekend. The event, titled "Beyond the Story, How to Make Meaningful Change in Our LGBTQ+ Community," will take place at the Rosendale Theater on Saturday (March 22) at 5 p.m. Admission is $20, and tickets can be purchased online.
Lecesne, who co-founded The Trevor Project after the success of the Academy Award-winning short film "Trevor," has been a prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ youth. The organization provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ young people. Lecesne's work has saved countless lives over the past 25 years, inspiring many to share their stories and create positive change.
