Kingston police have arrested 41-year-old Juress Brodhead in connection with a shooting at the Wiltwyck Gardens apartment complex. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning (March 25) around 1 a.m. The victim, whose identity has not been released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at HealthAlliance Hospital before being released.
According to a report by the Daily Freeman, Brodhead was arrested after a joint investigation with the town of Ulster police. He was charged with felony assault and arraigned in Kingston City Court, then sent to Ulster County Jail without bail.
The Hudson Valley One reported that detectives are actively pursuing leads and have executed search warrants at various locations in the city. The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Kingston Police Department Detective Division at 845-331-8404.
