The New York State Police are seeking assistance from the public following a burglary at the Cottonwood Motel in Millbrook. The incident occurred between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning (April 5-6) when suspects broke into state police vehicles parked at the motel. Several items belonging to the New York State Police were stolen, though authorities have assured the public that these items do not pose any threat.
The burglary, which also resulted in property damage, is currently under investigation. The police have not specified what items were stolen or why they were at the motel.
