The New York State Thruway Authority is organizing a public information session in Saugerties to discuss the replacement of the Malden Turnpike Bridge. This bridge, originally constructed in 1948, has reached the end of its serviceable life, prompting plans for its replacement.

The session will take place on Thursday (April 24) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Malden West Camp Fire Company. During this time, representatives from the Thruway Authority will be available to answer questions and provide detailed information about the project. The meeting aims to inform local residents about the upcoming changes and gather community feedback.

The replacement of the Malden Turnpike Bridge is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure across New York State. By engaging with the public, the Thruway Authority seeks to ensure that the project meets the needs and expectations of the Saugerties community.

Residents are encouraged to attend the session to learn more about the timeline, construction plans, and potential impacts of the bridge replacement. The input from this session will be valuable in shaping the final project plans.
