The Hudson City Police Department is preparing for its annual Car Seat Safety Check event. Certified car seat technicians will be present at the Hudson Children's Book Festival on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at 4400 NY-23 in Hudson.

During the event, certified experts will ensure that car seats are properly installed and will be available to answer any questions about child passenger safety. The event aims to educate parents and caregivers on the importance of correctly installing car seats to ensure the safety of young passengers. No appointment is necessary, allowing attendees to drop by at their convenience.

This initiative by the Hudson City Police Department highlights the ongoing commitment to community safety and awareness. By providing access to certified technicians, the department hopes to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a car accident.
