Dutchess County is mourning the loss of retired Deputy Sheriff Charlie Lattin, a respected member of the community and a founding member of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Department Dive Unit. After retiring from the sheriff's office, Lattin continued to serve the community by providing security at the Dutchess County Fair Grounds.
Visitation for Charlie Lattin is scheduled for Friday (May 16) at 4 p.m. at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie. The community is invited to pay their respects to a man who dedicated much of his life to public service.
