Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon will reportedly miss Game 7 of his team's Western Conference Playoffs semifinals series on Sunday (May 18) due to his Grade 2 hamstring strain, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Shams Charania.

The Nuggets' playoff star has been searching for ways to play in today's Game 7 against Oklahoma City, but it is becoming physically improbable to do so," Charania wrote on his X account Sunday morning.
Gordon, 29, exited the Nuggets' series-extending Game 6 win Thursday (May 15) late in the fourth quarter and was seen grabbing his hamstring, which was later confirmed by Charania on Friday (May 16).

Gordon was averaging career playoff highs of 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds through 13 games in two series against the Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers and recorded a playoff career best seven assists in Game 6. Denver is 5-0 in games when Gordon scores at least 20 points, which scoring 22 points in Games 1 and 3.
Gordon was limited to 51 games during the 2024-25 NBA regular season due to injuries and sat out extended stretches during the postseason while managing his right calf strain. Nuggets guards Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook (right hand sprain) were listed as probable on the Game 7 injury report.
