The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA is hosting its Spring Open House tomorrow (Saturday, May 31) from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 111 Humane Society Road in Hudson. During the event, adoption fees will be waived for dogs, cats, and other small animals, offering a great opportunity for those looking to adopt a pet.
The shelter encourages prospective adopters to submit their adoption applications in advance for pre-approval, as same-day approvals cannot be guaranteed. Applications can be found on the Columbia-Greene Humane Society website.
In addition to pet adoptions, attendees can enjoy grilled burgers and hotdogs, as well as participate in raffles for prizes, including a custom pet portrait by local artist Meryl Learnihan and a "Bucket of Cheer" filled with a selection of wines.
For more information, interested parties can contact the shelter at (518) 828-6044.
