Kingston residents are invited to participate in a design workshop for a new community park at Midtown Linear Park. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 24, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the park, located off Cornell Street. This workshop offers a hands-on opportunity for locals to contribute their ideas and help shape the design and programming of the new public space.

Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger emphasized the importance of community input in developing the park, which aims to enhance the area between Cornell and Downs streets. The workshop is part of the Ulster County Planning Department's ongoing efforts to engage the community in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve public spaces in Kingston, and the county encourages all interested residents to attend and share their thoughts. For more information, residents can contact the Ulster County Planning Department or visit their website.
