The Catskill Village Board will conduct a special election later this year to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Trustees. The vacancy arose after Jeff Workman resigned earlier this month, citing time constraints from his regular job. The board will hold a special meeting on Monday (June 23) to decide the election date. Board Vice President Joseph Kozloski expressed his preference for the election to take place on September 2. The decision is crucial for the village as they aim to fill the position promptly to ensure the board functions effectively.
