Three men are facing charges following an ATV crash on the Dutchess Rail Trail in LaGrange. On Saturday (June 21), State Troopers responded to the scene where they found two injured individuals: 24-year-old Nicholas Hunt from Putnam Valley, and his passenger, 25-year-old Devon Muscat from Newburgh. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators determined that Hunt was intoxicated at the time of the crash. However, the ATV involved was missing when authorities arrived. Further investigation revealed that 25-year-old Justin Mooney from Poughkeepsie and 26-year-old Cullum Pavone from Wappingers Falls had removed the ATV, tampering with evidence.

All three men are facing charges. Mooney and Pavone are scheduled to appear in the Town of LaGrange Court on August 5, 2025. The investigation remains ongoing, according to New York State Police.
