Ulster County Fair Opens Today with Fun and Entertainment

The 2025 Ulster County Fair kicks off today in New Paltz at the Ulster County Fairgrounds on Libertyville Road. Running through Sunday (August 3), the fair promises a variety of attractions, including rides, games, live entertainment, and delicious food. Among the highlights is a performance by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Chubby Checker, scheduled for Wednesday (July 30) at 8 p.m.

The fair opens from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the fair will close at 8 p.m. According to the Ulster County Fair's website, admission includes access to all headline entertainment acts, such as Joe Adee and the Lug Nuts, Cook & Belle, Lorrie Morgan, Asia featuring John Payne, and Emily Ann Roberts.

Special deals are available for attendees, including unlimited ride wristbands for $25 if purchased online before 11 a.m. today. Admission is free for children under 36 inches tall, and seniors aged 62 and older can enter for free on Wednesday and Thursday until 4 p.m. As reported by the Wallkill Valley Times, the fair features various attractions such as Robinson's Racing Pigs, a petting zoo, truck and tractor pulls, horse shows, and more.
