Kingston City Police have arrested three individuals in connection with a residential burglary and armed robbery that occurred on Friday (August 1). The suspects allegedly stole money and a cell phone from the victim, with one suspect threatening the victim with a knife.
The suspects, identified as Brandon Nava, 22, from Ellenville, Lee Perry, 23, from Kingston, and GB M. Sweeney, 22, from Kingston, were apprehended near Broadway and West Chester Street. According to Mid-Hudson News, Nava faces charges including two counts of robbery, one count of burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, and possession of drugs. Perry is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of burglary, while Sweeney faces three counts of robbery.
The three suspects were arraigned in Ulster County CAP Court and are currently held at the Ulster County Jail. News10 ABC reported that the arrests took place at a BP gas station on Broadway. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Kingston City Police at 845-331-8404.
