The much-anticipated Hudson Valley Garlic Festival is set to return to Saugerties on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28. Held at the Cantine Memorial Complex, the festival will feature garlic farmers, food and craft vendors, live entertainment, and a dedicated garlic marketplace.
The festival, organized by the Kiwanis Club of Saugerties, is a celebration of the garlic harvest and aims to bring the community together for a weekend of fun and festivities. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets for the festival are priced at $15 at the gate for a single-day pass, with children under 12 admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Advance tickets are available for $10 for adults and $8 for seniors aged 65 and over. All tickets include free parking, and handicapped parking is available.
For more details and to purchase advance tickets, visit the official festival website. The festival is a zero-waste event, and attendees are reminded that no alcohol, smoking, pets, bicycles, recreational scooters, or skateboards are allowed on the premises.
Proceeds from the festival go towards supporting community causes, continuing the tradition started by the late Pat Reppert, the festival's founder.
