The Ulster County District Attorney's Office, in collaboration with the Ulster County Youth Bureau, is organizing the "One Life Only" youth convention in Kingston. The event will take place at Dietz Stadium on Saturday, September 6, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The convention aims to encourage young people to adopt positive actions and attitudes as a means of preventing crime and violence. Organizers hope that by showcasing the benefits of a life lived positively, participants will reconsider any negative paths they might be on. The event will include games, music, and food, promoting the theme that life is better lived free rather than in prison.
Participants will receive a free T-shirt featuring a logo designed by "Kat," a youth intern in the District Attorney's Office. The event is free of charge and open to all young people in the county.
