Fatal Motorcycle Crash Under Investigation in Ulster County

A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of Timothy Avery, 58, from Kerhonkson on Monday (September 1). The crash occurred on State Route 209 in the town of Rochester, Ulster County, at approximately 6:11 p.m. According to the New York State Police, Avery was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound when it veered off the road, exiting via the western shoulder into a wooded area. Emergency personnel pronounced Avery dead at the scene.
