The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA in Hudson is hosting a free adoption clinic, offering potential pet owners the chance to adopt animals without paying any fees. The event will take place tomorrow, with the shelter open from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All standard adoption screening processes will still apply.

The shelter, located 45 minutes south of Albany, New York, is committed to the humane treatment and wellbeing of animals. It does not euthanize animals due to space constraints and operates without federal, state, or county funding. Interested adopters can view available pets on the Columbia-Greene Humane Society's website.

The organization emphasizes community outreach, humane education, and preventing cruelty to animals. This free adoption event is part of their ongoing efforts to find loving homes for animals in need. For more information, potential adopters can contact the shelter at (518) 828-6044.
