Former New York Yankees star Jim Leyritz is scheduled to visit Rhinebeck this weekend. Leyritz will be speaking at the Rhinebeck Reformed Church on Mill Street at 10 a.m. on Sunday (September 14). Known for his pivotal home run during the 1996 World Series, which helped the Yankees secure their first championship since 1978, Leyritz will discuss how his Christian faith has guided him through challenging times.

Leyritz enjoyed an 11-season career in Major League Baseball, finishing with a .264 batting average and 90 home runs. His visit to Rhinebeck offers fans and community members a chance to hear from the former athlete about his life experiences and the role of faith in his journey.

The Rhinebeck Reformed Church, located at 6368 Mill Street, invites everyone to attend the event. The church emphasizes its mission of love, faith, and hope and welcomes all to join their worship and community activities.
