Grammy-nominated singer Joan Osborne is set to headline a benefit concert for the Ulster Immigrant Defense Network (UIDN) in Kingston on Saturday, September 20. The event, titled "Estamos Contigo" (We Are With You), will take place at the Old Dutch Church, starting at 7 p.m.

The concert aims to raise funds for UIDN, which supports immigrant communities in Ulster County. According to the Daily Freeman, the organization serves over 1,000 families and more than 3,000 individuals in the area. All proceeds from the event will go towards furthering UIDN's mission.

In addition to Osborne, the concert will feature performances by several other artists, including Madeleine Peyroux, David Baerwald, and Gail Ann Dorsey. The event is organized by Peyroux, who emphasized the importance of community support in challenging times. Chronogram reports that the concert will bring together local musicians to support UIDN, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the cause.

Tickets for the concert are priced at $50 and can be purchased online or at the door. For more information, visit the Ulster Immigrant Defense Network's website.
