Kingston Mayor Steve Noble has announced the final dates for his 2025 Listening Tour, providing residents with an opportunity to engage directly with local government. On Monday, October 20, residents of Ward Eight can meet with Mayor Noble at the Albert Brown Community Center on Broadway. The session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will include Alderman Steve Schabot. Meanwhile, residents of Ward Nine will have their session on Monday, November 17, at 5:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Livingston Street, with Alderwoman Michele Hirsch in attendance.

The Listening Tour aims to facilitate open communication between the mayor and the community, allowing residents to voice their concerns and ask questions directly. Mayor Noble emphasized the importance of these meetings, stating, "Meeting residents near their homes helps to bridge the gap between local government and the public, and I encourage everyone to attend these meetings." Residents can also reach out to the mayor via email at mayor@kingston-ny.gov.

According to the City of Kingston's official website, the Listening Tour is part of Mayor Noble's ongoing efforts to engage with the community and address local issues. The tour has been well-received, with previous sessions providing valuable insights into the concerns of Kingston's residents.

As reported by the Daily Freeman, these meetings are seen as essential for fostering a vibrant community and ensuring that residents' voices are heard. The tour's conclusion in Wards Eight and Nine marks the end of a series of meetings held throughout the city in 2025.
