The New York State Department of Homeland Security Emergency Services will soon offer free emergency preparedness classes in Greene County. The first class is scheduled for October 30 at the Robert Antonelli Senior Center in Catskill. Participants will learn essential skills to prepare for various types of disasters. Each attendee will receive a free preparedness kit.

The classes aim to equip residents with the knowledge and tools needed to handle emergencies effectively. While the dates for additional classes at other Greene County Senior Centers are yet to be announced, residents can register for these sessions online.
