The Ulster County Board of Elections has announced a change in the location for one of its early voting sites. Originally planned for the Marlborough Community Center, the site has been moved to the Highland American Legion Hall due to a scheduling conflict. Early voting will commence on Saturday, October 25, and continue through Sunday, November 2, with Election Day on November 4.

The Marlborough Community Center, which has hosted early voting since 2021, was unexpectedly double-booked, prompting the relocation. Ashley Torres, the county’s Democratic commissioner, expressed frustration over the last-minute change, stating that it has created significant challenges for voters, election officials, and campaigners who had already been informed of the original location.

Voters in Marlborough will now head to the Highland American Legion Hall to cast their early ballots. The Ulster County Board of Elections is working to inform the public about the change and ensure a smooth transition.
