Starting Saturday (October 18), the Catskill Mountain Railroad will offer its popular Pumpkin Express rides from Kingston. Running for two weekends, the scenic train journey takes passengers to a pumpkin patch where they can select a pumpkin to take home and decorate. Trains depart from the Westbrook Lane station at Kingston Plaza at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.

The journey follows the former Ulster & Delaware Railroad corridor, offering views of the Catskills' natural beauty and historic farmlands. Passengers will travel through the Hurley Flats and cross the Esopus Creek on the restored C9 Bridge.

Tickets are priced at $24 for adults, $22 for seniors, military, and veterans, and $18 for children aged 2-12. Toddlers under two can ride for free on a parent's lap. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit the Catskill Mountain Railroad's official website.
