The Hudson Valley Future Summit is set to return to the SUNY New Paltz campus on Wednesday (November 19). The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom, focusing on the theme "The Well-Planned Business Owner." This summit aims to attract alumni, regional leaders, and local business owners to discuss challenges in managing wealth and preserving legacies for future generations.

The summit will open with remarks from SUNY New Paltz President Darrell P. Wheeler, followed by a series of panel discussions. The first panel, "Transitioning your Business – Using an ESOP or Private Sale," will feature experts like Adam Kleiner from M&T Bank and Matthew Lee from Wilmington Trust. These sessions will provide insights into business transition strategies, succession planning, and leadership continuity.

A highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Luke Tilley, chief economist at Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in networking sessions and enjoy a locally sourced lunch.

Registration for the summit closes on November 18. For more details and to register, visit the SUNY New Paltz website.
