The Columbia-Greene Humane Society in Hudson is inviting pet owners to bring their furry friends for a festive photo opportunity with Santa. On Saturday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., pets can pose with Santa at the shelter located on Humane Society Road. The event is open to all pets, with a $20 donation requested to benefit the Columbia-Greene Humane Society (CGHS).
According to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society, all dogs must be on a leash, and cats or other small animals should be in a secure carrier. No appointment is necessary, making it easy for pet owners to drop by at their convenience.
The event not only provides a chance for adorable holiday photos but also supports the shelter's ongoing efforts to care for animals in need. In previous events, the shelter has raised over $300 through donations. Santa will also pose with animals available for adoption, offering them a chance to find new homes.
For more information, pet owners can contact the shelter at (518) 828-6044.
