The Dutchess County Drug Task Force executed a raid on an apartment at 7 Jones Street in the Town of Poughkeepsie on Wednesday (November 12), as part of an ongoing investigation into drug sales in the area. The operation resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of fentanyl and cocaine.
According to Mid-Hudson News, the raid was conducted with the assistance of a K9 unit from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Detective Sergeant Adam Harris, the task force coordinator, confirmed the successful seizure of drugs and the arrest of a suspected dealer. He emphasized the task force's commitment to acting on community tips to remove drug dealers from the streets.
The building at 7 Jones Street, owned by YL Realty Holding LLC in Brooklyn, has been under scrutiny before. In March, the task force conducted a raid in another apartment in the same building, leading to the arrest of five individuals on drug-related charges.
