A Kingston man, Joseph Guzman, 30, is facing serious legal charges after being accused of child endangerment. According to News10, Guzman allegedly sent inappropriate pictures of himself to an 11-year-old girl and harassed her through a messaging app. The investigation into these actions began in October 2023, leading to his arrest on November 13, 2025.

Guzman has been charged with first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, second-degree aggravated harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in Ulster County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and released on his own recognizance.

The Daily Freeman reports that the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted the investigation, which revealed that Guzman initiated an inappropriate conversation with the minor, causing her significant stress. Guzman was arrested without incident.

Further court proceedings are expected as the case develops.
