An apparent murder-suicide is under investigation in Shandaken after two individuals were found dead in a home on Highview Road. On Tuesday (November 11), state police and the Shandaken Police Department responded to a call about two unconscious individuals at the residence. Upon arrival, they discovered 68-year-old Deborah A. Warren and 69-year-old Mark P. Braman, both from Phoenicia, deceased from gunshot wounds. According to police, Warren died from a gunshot wound, while Braman's wound appeared self-inflicted.
The nature of the relationship between Warren and Braman has not been disclosed. Authorities have stated that there is no threat to the public and are continuing their investigation. They urge anyone with information to contact state police at (845) 344-5300, referencing case #NY2501127457.
