An unresponsive woman was discovered in an apartment at 500 Broadway in Newburgh and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. City police found the woman just before 10 a.m. on November 22. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful. The woman's body was subsequently handed over to the medical examiner for further investigation.
Mid Hudson News reported that the incident is currently under investigation by local authorities. Further details about the woman's identity and the circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been released.
