On Thursday (December 4), a school bus collided with a pickup truck on Vassar Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie, resulting in several injuries. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m., sending multiple students to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
According to Mid Hudson News, emergency services responded promptly to the scene. The students, who were on the school bus at the time of the crash, were transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, none of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.
The accident led to significant traffic disruptions in the area as authorities worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the collision. The pickup truck driver was also taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.
