Autopsies have been completed for three individuals involved in a double-murder suicide in Catskill. According to the Greene County coroner, all three died from gunshot wounds to the head. The incident occurred on Friday (December 12), when 22-year-old Conor Provo called 911, admitting to killing his friends, 34-year-old Clifford Beauchard and 19-year-old Justin Acevedo, before taking his own life.
Police responded to the call at a property on Forest View Drive, where they found Provo dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a trailer. The bodies of Beauchard and Acevedo were discovered in another structure on the property. The New York State Police are treating the case as a murder-suicide and are continuing their investigation.
Authorities have not yet determined a motive for the tragic events. The town of Catskill, located along the Hudson River, is home to approximately 11,000 residents.
