Weekend Fire Damages Newburgh Deli

A fire broke out early Monday morning (January 20) at the New York Hometown Deli located at 165 South Plank Road in the Town of Newburgh. The two-alarm fire was reported shortly after 6 a.m., directly across from the Winona Lake Firehouse. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

According to Mid Hudson News, one person at the scene sustained burns and was taken to the hospital, although the extent of their injuries is not yet known. The fire has caused significant damage to the deli, but further details about the extent of the damage are yet to be disclosed.

Local authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available. The community is advised to stay clear of the area while investigations continue.
