SUNY Ulster has scheduled several information sessions in February for prospective students looking to learn more about the college's offerings.

The sessions will provide details about degree and certificate programs, admissions requirements, financial aid options, and student support services, according to an announcement from the college.

Two general admissions information sessions are scheduled: Wednesday, February 4, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the main Stone Ridge campus (491 Cottekill Road), and Thursday, February 5, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the SUNY Ulster Kingston Center (94 Marys Avenue).

Additionally, a specialized nursing program information session will take place on Thursday, February 12, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Stone Ridge campus.

These events are open to high school students, adult learners, and anyone interested in exploring educational opportunities at SUNY Ulster. Attendees will have the chance to speak directly with staff members and have their questions answered.

Registration is required for all sessions. Interested individuals can register by visiting sunyulster.edu/visit. For additional questions, prospective attendees can email admissions@sunyulster.edu.

The information sessions come as SUNY Ulster deals with weather-related closures. On Monday (January 26), all in-person classes and events at both the Stone Ridge Campus and Kingston Center were canceled due to a County of Ulster State of Emergency, though online classes remained on schedule.

Throughout the year, SUNY Ulster hosts various open houses and information sessions covering both credit and non-credit courses, including specialized programs in manufacturing, healthcare, addiction counseling, and green technology.
