A Fishkill resident has struck it rich after purchasing a winning CASH4LIFE lottery ticket worth $1,000 per week for life. The New York Lottery announced Monday (February 9) that the second-prize winning ticket was sold at a store on Main Street in Fishkill for the February 6 drawing.
The lucky winner is guaranteed a minimum payout of $1 million, according to NEWS10. The fortunate ticket holder now has up to one year from the drawing date to come forward and claim their prize.
CASH4LIFE drawings take place daily at approximately 9 p.m., with winning numbers drawn from a field of one to 60. The Cash Ball is selected from a separate field of one to four. For the February 6 drawing, the winning numbers were 8, 31, 45, 53, 58, with a Cash Ball of 3.
This isn't the first time the Hudson Valley region has seen a major lottery win. Patch.com reports that another CASH4LIFE second-prize winning ticket was recently sold at a Smokes 4 Less location in Newburgh, Orange County.
