Another wild game at Marlins Park this afternoon, but the Mets fell to Miami 4-2 on a walk-off home run from J.T. Riddle.
The Marlins dominated for most if this game as they carried a 2-0 lead into the ninth inning. Dan Straily, Jarlin Garcia, Kyle Barraclough, Brad Ziegler, combined for seven and two-thirds of no-hit baseball before Neil Walker and Yoenis Cespedes hit back to back singles in the top of the eighth.
In the top of the ninth the Mets would rally to tie the game when Asdrubal Cabrera roped a 2-run single. The Marlins would storm right back in the bottom half of the inning when J.T. Riddle hit a walk-off 2-run home run giving Miami the 4-2 win.
