The Mets erased a 5-0 deficit and went on to win 10-5 tonight at Coors Field in Colorado.

Curtis Granderson broke a 5-5 tie with a 3-run home run to give the Mets an 8-5 advantage as part of a six run sixth inning. Amed Rosario would drive in his first run of his big league career with an RBI triple, Jay Bruce hit his 29th home run of the season and Yoenis Cespedes ripped an RBI double for New York.

Chris Flexen allowed five runs on eight hits over three innings in his second big league start. The Mets bullpen would back him up by tossing six scoreless innings and striking out six.
