President Donald Trump says there is no chaos in the White House.
He is praising his new chief of staff for doing a "miraculous job" running the Department of Homeland Security. John Kelly was sworn-in at the White House this morning. 24/7 News reports that while hosting a Cabinet meeting, Trump cited excellent progress on border security and the economy.
It is too early for me to tell if General Kelly did a “miraculous job” at Homeland Security. What I do know is that there are far fewer Mexican Nationals trying to illegally cross the border. When I was in Washington, DC last month at the FAIR Immigration forum, ranchers on the border and immigration experts told me that the number of illegal crossings decreased dramatically once President Trump took office.
Now that General Kelly is gone from Homeland Security, let's not drop the ball on our southern border.
