It looks like the Trump administration’s policy on immigration is working.
Trump is deporting fewer illegal immigrants from Mexico than the Obama administration did last year. Data from the Mexican government shows the U.S. deported about 152-thousand Mexican nationals between January and November this year. More than 200-thousand were deported between January and November of 2016.
24/7 Metro News reports U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement reports this year's lower number is because 17-percent fewer illegal immigrants were taken into custody at the border this year.
