I was happy to hear that small business confidence is on the rise after the new GOP tax cut plan.
24/7 News Source reports a CNBC/SurveyMonkey survey out today shows confidence in the first quarter of the year jumped from 57 to a record 62 points. The rise reflects increasing optimism about the effect of the tax cuts since they were signed into law. The largest increase in confidence comes from businesses that employ five to nine people.
We also learn that nearly 60 percent of businesses surveyed expect to see economic expansion in the coming year. This is what I have been saying for years; cut taxes and rein in regulations and the jobs will follow.
