The first Democratic debates of the 2020 presidential election cycle are just over 24-hours away. The candidates will be broken up into two groups of ten, who will debate over two nights in Miami. I predict the debates will be circus-like as each of the ten candidates both of the nights will try to stand out from the pack. From 24/7 News Source:
"To qualify for the debate, candidates had to either have one-percent support in three separate polls or show evidence of at least 65-thousand unique donors. Some in the first group of ten appearing tomorrow in Miami include Senator Cory Booker, Senator Elizabeth Warren and former Representative Beto O'Rourke. Big names in the second group appearing on Thursday include former VP Joe Biden, Senator Kamala Harris, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Senator Bernie Sanders. The debates will air on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. Eastern time."
