Well I am sure this doesn't come as a surprise to you. New York continues to lose population. According to 24/7 News Source residents are packing their bags and they are not coming back to New York State. When we lose population that means the rest of us are paying more in taxes. For the second year in a row, the Empire State lost more people than any other state according to new census data. It shows New York with an estimated population of about 19 and a half million people in July but a loss of nearly 77-thousand people. The population has declined four years in a row following several years of growth.
